Quality Assurance

We have a programme which incorporates maintaining and assessing service provision in respect of competence, reliability, responsiveness, consistency and courtesy.  We also ask other Service Providers to complete an Annual Quality Assurance survey.  A report of this is sent to the CSCI.

Our Staff

All our staff will have knowledge in many other Social Care sectors e.g. Dementia, Mental Health, SCIP, Makaton, Epilepsy. Regular monitoring is carried out on our staff and we also require other Service Providers to complete an Annual Quality Assurance survey. A report of this is sent to the CSCI.


All staff on our register will have:
  • a minimum one year relevant experience.
  • a CRB Enhanced Disclosure
  • validation references, one from a current or last employer in the care sector.
  • manoeuvring and handling certificate
  • basic food hygiene certificate
  • NVQ 2/3 or equivalent qualifications, whilst others will be enrolled on NVQ courses.
  • All staff will have knowledge of POVA.

We are members of a training consortium which allows us access to 130 plus places per year on a number of courses e.g. Health & Safety, First Aid, Moving and Handling, Food Hygiene, Dementia Awareness and  Medicines (Medication Awareness).

We form teams of staff for individual units, creating continuity for Residents|Clients|Service Users and also the unit.
